The teams have been split into four seeding pots. Pot 1 consists of the holders, the UEFA Europa League winners and the champions of England, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal and Netherlands.

Pots 2 is determined by the club coefficient rankings.

Pots 3 is  determined by the club coefficient rankings.

Pots 4 is  determined by the club coefficient rankings.

NOW ITS TIME FOR THE GROUPS! WHO'S EXCITED?

The group stage involves eight groups of four teams, with each club playing everyone else in that group home and away.

The top two sides in each group move on to the round of 16 and the start of the knockout phase

While the third-placed team drops into the UEFA Europa League.

The top three clubs will continue their European campaigns in the new year: Group winners progress to the round of 16.

For this award, coaches in Europe, irrespective of nationality, have been judged in regard to their impact over the whole season in all competitions – both domestically and internationally – at either club, or national team level.

This is an association football award given to the footballer playing for a men's football club in Europe that is considered the best in the previous season of both club and national team competition.
