Selena Gomez surprising feud with her kidney donor best friend Francia Raisa over major stub. Fans have weighed in on the drama after her best friend quietly unfollowed the singer on Instagram.

Selena Gomez left a surprising comment on TikTok amid reports of her fallout with best friend and kidney donor Francia Raisa.

The public comments took place when Gomez, who has just released a film about her health battle, said her only friend in the industry was Taylor Swift.

Raisa, who is also in the entertainment industry commented “Interesting” on an E! News post about Gomez’s comment and went on to unfollow her friend on Instagram.

Since, fans have been weighing in on the unfolding drama, prompting Gomez to comment on one video, “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know”.

The comment has generally not been well received by social media, with some calling it “passive-aggressive”.

Former Disney star turned actress and singer Gomez has been a longtime friend of Raisa - an actress best known for starring in How I Met Your Father.

In 2007, three years after Gomez was diagnosed with the inflammatory disease Lupus, she needed a life-saving kidney transplant.

As a good friend, Raisa said she would check if she was a match and after learning she was, underwent the surgery to donate one of her kidneys to Gomez.

The surgery has left a permanent scar and has set limitations on what she can do with just one kidney in her body.

Fast-forward to November 2022 and Gomez has released an AppleTV+ film titled My Mind and Me, consisting of footage of her life and health battle from 2016 to 2022.

The kidney transplant was mentioned in the documentary however Raisa was not featured. She went on to unfollow her longtime friend Gomez - who as of Monday is still following Raisa back.

Fans appeared divided on the matter, with some agreeing Raisa is entitled to feel upset given the enormous sacrifice she made to save Gomez’s life.
