Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom dies at 96 after 70-year reign. The longest reigning monarch in British history.

That decades-long reign of service ended Thursday, when Queen Elizabeth II died at her Balmoral estate in Scotland, at age 96.

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was the husband of Queen Elizabeth II. He was by Queen's side to the very end, through a 73-year marriage, 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
