Producer Ekta Kapoor and her mother, Shobha Kapoor are in trouble. A court of Begusarai, Bihar has issued arrest warrants against the mother and daughter.
They have allegations that their online series XXX Season 2 offended soldiers and their family members.
The complaint was filed by Shambhu Kumar, an ex-serviceman in 2020, he says that there are many such objectionable scenes in the web series called X*X*X which are related to the wife of a soldier.
The court has ordered Ekta and her mother to appear in the court. Ekta has also informed the court that a lot of the scenes about which there were objections have been removed from the series.
The series was aired on ALTBalaji, an OTT platform owned by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Ltd. Shobha Kapoor is also associated with Balaji Telefilms
XXX is a 2018 Hindi-language erotic comedy-drama web series directed by Ken Ghosh for the video on demand platform ALT Balaji.
The court had issued summons to them & asked them to appear before it but they didn't appear before court following which warrant was issued against them
