Aussie footy star poses with US rapper on a wild night out in Las Vegas - just days before he was arrested on suspicion of attempted MURDER
AFL star Mitch Robinson has posed for a photo alongside US rapper Blueface - just days before police dramatically arrested the hip hop artist for attempted murder.
In the photo Mitch Robinson, who has just retired after 247 games for the Brisbane Lions and Carlton, stands with his arms around the flashy 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Johnathan Porter.
The photo was taken in the lobby of the MGM Grand casino in Las Vegas on October 11. Five days later on October 16, undercover officers swarmed on Blueface and arrested him over an alleged shooting.
Robison, 33, said on Instagram it was a 'trip for the ages' after making a snap decision to visit the US and join some former teammates on an end-of-season trip.
'I booked a last minute trip to the states, I somehow got the green light off the missus to go over just after the Lions Best and Fairest,' Robinson wrote.
'I hopped on a long ass 13 hour flight to LA by myself to catch the lads for a few nights, watched some basketball then ended up at Las Vegas.'
Meanwhile, Blueface, who achieved stardom with his breakthrough top 10 US hit Thotiana in 2018 and later partnered with rap megastar Snoop Dogg is facing the prospect of life behind bars.
