Russian assaults in Kherson resulted in several fatalities

A Russian strike on Kherson, a city in southern Ukraine, resulted in at least seven fatalities and 20 injuries.
Seven persons were reported dead and 58 injured in the shelling of Kherson on Saturday, according to Kyrylo Tymoshenko, the deputy head of the presidential office. At least 16 of the injured were said to be critically hurt.
On its social media pages, the prosecutor's office for the Kherson region said that at least "eight civilians were killed."
Following bombardment, vehicles also took fire in a residential part of the city, according to the emergency services.
The fires were put out within 40 minutes, but the prosecutor's office said on Telegram that the number of fatalities and injuries was still being "established."
After shelling in Kherson city, which Kyiv's forces retook in November, left at least five people dead and 20 more injured, Zelenskyy denounced Russian "horror."
