Rishabh Pant, an Indian cricketer, was hurt in a car accident.

Despite several injuries sustained in a car accident in the town of Roorkee in the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand, Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant is presently in a stable condition, according to authorities.
Many analysts believe that Pant, India's greatest ever wicketkeeper-batsman, was riding alone in the car when it crashed into a road barrier and caught fire early on Friday in his home state.
According to Swapan Kishore, a senior police official in Roorkee, "he was taken to a nearby Saksham Hospital where he received primary treatment and was later shifted to Max Hospital Dehradun for specialized treatment."
Pant, 25, was hurt on his head, back, and leg, but he also managed to get out of the car before it caught fire, according to Indian media reports. Images taken at the scene showed that the car was fully burned up following the collision.
The cricketer's condition was being continuously monitored, according to Jay Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Pant was a member of the team that defeated Bangladesh 2-0 in a test series this month. But he won't play in the matches against Sri Lanka scheduled for next month.
Cricket players from all across the world posted messages of worry and well wishes for Pant on Twitter.
