P.J. Tucker, a former Heat forward, moves on to the next phase - NBA News

Despite possessing Joel Embiid, an MVP-caliber player, the Sixers have struggled mightily to win the playoffs. Since Embiid's arrival, they have been reliable postseason mainstays, but they have never advanced past the Conference Finals, much less the NBA Finals.

Also Tucker made a very audacious pledge to the Sixers to help the team advance after agreeing to a three-year, $33.2 million contract with a full guarantee.
Last season, Philadelphia even acquired James Harden through trade, but his presence did little to stop the team from losing in the second round once more.
But with the addition of PJ Tucker, the Sixers gained a dependable player and a seasoned one with championship experience. Indeed, Philly is hoping he will be the final link to bring everything together.
Although it's unclear how the Sixers' future will turn out with Tucker on board, supporters have good cause to be upbeat about his hiring.
