Marko "Marco" Hietala, a former vocalist and bassist for Nightwish, doesn't anticipate being invited to rejoin the group.
Marko "Marco" Hietala, a former bassist and vocalist for NIGHTWISH, claims he doesn't anticipate being invited to rejoin the group any time soon.
In January 2021, the bassist/vocalist of NIGHTWISH announced his departure, citing the fact that he had "been unable to feel validated by this existence for a quite a few years now." Since then, NIGHTWISH's two interactive experiences have featured session bassist Jukka Koskinen (WINTERSUN), who made his live debut with the band in May 2021.
Following artists' exploitation by the music industry for financial gain, it seems the joy of creating music and playing in a band has been lost.
"The previous year made me remain in and reflect. And I came to be pretty pessimistic about these and many other things. I discovered that I require that validation. I need to discover some fresh inspirations and reasons to continue writing, singing, and playing "In part, he remarked.

He used his birth name, Marko Hietala, to release the record and will continue to do so in the future for all of his other endeavors. Hietala referred to his solo work as "hard prog." In January 2020, Pyre of the Black Heart (Nuclear Blast), an English translation of the record, was released. [ 15 ] Along with playing on the CDs, he has toured throughout Finland in the past with guitarist Tuomas Wäinölä, keyboardist Vili Ollila, and drummer Anssi Nykänen.
