Louisiana is devastated by vengeful storms.

From north to south, punishing tornadoes tore through the US state of Louisiana, killing at least three people and seriously damaging a number of structures, including homes.
After murdering a mother and kid in the state's northwest the previous day, the storms plowed eastward on Wednesday. The system generated two tornadoes, one of which reportedly killed a woman on Wednesday in southeast Louisiana's St Charles Parish and another of which devastated portions of New Orleans and the neighboring parishes of Jefferson and St. Bernard, including regions that suffered significant damage from a tornado in March.
Five individuals were only mildly hurt when a tornado hit New Iberia, Louisiana, breaking windows in a multistory structure at Iberia Medical Center. The threat of tornadoes decreased in Mississippi as night fell, but it persisted in some Florida and Alabama counties.
Collin Arnold, the emergency director for New Orleans, claimed that many homes and businesses on the west bank of the Mississippi River had considerable wind damage. One house fell apart. He added, "The last report we heard is that they were stable." Four people had been hurt there.
Nearby reports of similar damage were made.
Sheriff Jimmy Pohlman stated that the newest tornado damage in St Bernard Parish, where the March storm wrought destruction, encompassed an approximately 3.2km (2-mile) stretch. Although several roofs were blown off or damaged, Parish President Guy McInnis claimed the damage was less than in the March storm.
Authorities in St Charles Parish, west of New Orleans, said that a lady was discovered dead there after a suspected tornado damaged residences in the Mississippi River village of Killona on Wednesday. According to reports, eight individuals were injured and rushed to hospitals.
Authorities in northern Louisiana, about 450 kilometers (280 miles) away, took hours to locate the bodies of a mother and child who went missing after a tornado destroyed their mobile home on Tuesday near Keithville, south of Shreveport.
