Funeral service for Ivana Trump held; former president pays respects.

THE NEW YORK Ivana Trump lived a "wonderful life," the former president reminisced as loved ones paid their respects to her on Wednesday. Ivana Trump was a businesswoman and 1980s style queen who assisted Donald Trump in building the empire that put him on the path to the White House.
Before going to St. Vincent Ferrer Roman Catholic Church, a few blocks from Ivana Trump's house close to Central Park, he posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, that it was "a very sad day, but at the same time a celebration of a wonderful and beautiful life." He was joined by former first lady Melania Trump and their son Barron.
Family friends including Jeanine Pirro, co-host of Fox News' "The Five," and Charles Kushner, a real estate mogul and the father of Ivanka Trump's husband, Jared Kushner, attended the funeral along with Tiffany Trump, the daughter of the former president and his second wife, Marla Maples. Ivana Trump's longtime friend and fashion designer Dennis Basso was also present.

Ivana and Donald Trump met in the 1970s and were married from 1977 to 1992. In the 1980s, they were a power couple, and she became well known in her own right, instantly recognizable with her blond hair in an up do and her glamorous look.
