Belarus is relocating its troops amid Ukrainian attack fears

In response to worries that Russia could strike Ukraine through Belarus, Belarus plans to move military hardware and personnel on Wednesday and Thursday as part of a "counterterrorism" drill.
The country's Security Council was quoted as saying, "During this time, it is intended to relocate military equipment and people of the national security forces."
"The use of fake firearms for training purposes is envisaged," the statement reads. "Citizens' (transport) movement along specific public highways and locations will be prohibited."
Where Minsk intends to relocate the troops is unclear.

Months ago, Ukraine issued a warning, expressing its concern that Belarus and Russia might be preparing a military incursion across its northern border.
The General Staff of Ukraine stated in a statement published on Facebook that "enemy units are being trained on the training grounds of the Republic of Belarus" and that Russian attacks were still being launched from Belarusian soil.
