Barcelona defeats David Beckham's Major League Soccer team, Inter Miami, in a preseason thrashing.

The friendly matchup versus Barcelona, according to Inter Miami head coach Phil Neville, was "the biggest match in club history," before the game. Even while that may have been the case, the host team won't be remembering the preseason match because Barcelona humiliated the MLS team 6-0 in Ft. Lauderdale's DRV PNK Stadium. From the first whistle to the last kick, the Catalan team controlled the game, applying pressure in waves while Inter Miami struggled to keep up. In contrast, the home team made hardly any forward progress and managed only a single sniff of the attacking third.
Although Robert Lewandowski wasn't nearly ready to play, Barcelona's other three new additions shone in the first half. Raphinha led the charge with a goal and two assists, while Andreas Christensen covered former Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain and Franck Kessie controlled everything.
In the second half, Barcelona's subs outplayed Inter Miami's backup squad and finished with three goals of their own.
Romeo Beckham of David Beckham and Harvey Beckham of Neville came off the bench for cameos for Inter Miami, but it was only a minor relief from an otherwise lopsided loss.
