Attack in Makiivka prompts unusually harsh reaction in Russia

Following one of the worst strikes of the Ukraine conflict, Russian nationalists and a few MPs have called for the punishment of commanders who they claim ignored dangers.
"Who thought it would be a good idea to put so many people in one building when even a fool knows that even if they are hit by artillery, there will be a lot of people injured or killed?" On the Telegram chat platform, Archangel Spetznaz Z, a Russian military blogger with over 700,000 followers, posted.
He claimed that commanders "couldn't care less."
Legislator and former Senate chairman Sergei Mironov urged that those in charge who "allowed the concentration of military men in an unprotected building" and "all the higher authorities who did not provide the required level of protection" be held criminally accountable.
Senator and former deputy foreign minister Grigory Karasin sought "an exhaustive internal analysis" in addition to retribution against Ukraine and its NATO allies."
