Amit Shah, India's Home Minister, makes an emergency landing on his aircraft.

On Wednesday evening, the emergency landing of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah's aircraft took place at the international airport in Guwahati.
According to a news report, the aircraft was forced to detour due to unfavorable weather conditions and low visibility brought on by dense fog while en route to the north-eastern state of Tripura.

Prior to departing for Tripura state's capital of Agartala on Thursday morning to attend an assembly election function, he would spend Wednesday night in the city.
