A glimpse of Glinda is being shown by ARIANA GRANDE'S newly blonde hair.
Ariana Grande appears to be adopting a persona. The Grammy-winning singer arrived in the UK to begin casting for her role as Glinda The Good Witch in the upcoming Wicked film. Since November of last year, when Ari first revealed that she will be appearing in the movie opposite Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, fans have been eagerly awaiting any new information. We still have to wait for the live-action movie, but to pass the time, Ari offered some tidbits of her first days in the UK by posting pictures of hot air balloons and the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz on her Instagram Stories a few days ago.
While Glinda's Swarovski-covered star wand and petal-tiered blue ballgown have yet to be seen, Ari may have given us a glimpse of her ice blonde hair for the part. The singer shared a photo of herself sitting down with Ilya Salamanzadeh and Savan Kotecha on yesterday's Instagram stories. In it, Ari sports her trademark high ponytail and waist-length golden blonde tumbling waves.

Even though it's not apparent if the picture is vintage, it gives us a glimpse of how Ari might interpret Glinda. We can imagine the singer wanting to add her own flair to the role by changing Glinda's tight locks for something more contemporary. She may even decide to adopt the Good Witch's distinctive beautiful blonde curls before to filming, leaving her natural brown hair behind.
